Islands Concert Tonight.

My latest musical obsession, Islands, is playing in the city tonight. Therefore I'm beyond stoked and en route there as I type. If you haven't heard of them/him yet, be prepared to in the very near future. He's immensely talented and incredibly fun to listen to. Hope he lives up to my expectations.

Maine Needs To Quit With The Intolerance

Regardless of the public opinion of my home state. I do truly love Maine. I love the trees, the ocean, the people. However, the decision on Maine's part to forgo equal rights for Gays in the marriage equation makes me deeply sad. How can we as a state, one that is incredibly welcoming (or so we thought), dictate the equality of a societal sect that is so important to our prosperity as a tourism location. Equality is something every one deserves. And I can honestly say that I am incredibly embarrassed of my home state, town, and people. I only hope the results change by the time I wake up tomorrow.

Acid Wash Denim.

So I recently bought a pair of white, complete 80's-revival denim. I completely adore them. However, the problem I am consistently facing is how to pair them with a sweater/shirt/pair of shoes. As a very unique item, they should probably be the focal point for any outfit. I believe that a nice pair of Doc Martens (black) and a simple black sweater would be sufficient. Hence my search for the perfect pair of both these items. Frustration may now ensue.

I have decided that I legitimately am going to try and keep up with this blog this time. Photos I love, photos I take, movies I see and love, music I find myself obsessed with. Anything and everything I find interesting. Side note, I'm absolutely enthralled by Islands and Lights right now. Both are completely ridiculous artists. Also, Salvador Dali has becomes focal to my life. I just seem to find myself dying to be immersed in these worlds he creates.
